• Your games in progress, settings and statistics (best times, streaks, win rates and the days you solved the daily puzzle) are stored on your device.
• If you’re signed in to iCloud, the same data syncs between your own devices using Apple’s iCloud Key-Value Storage. It lives in your personal iCloud account. It is never sent to us or to any third party, and we have no access to it.
• The Home Screen widget reads a small summary of today’s puzzle and your streak, which the app keeps on your device for it.

If you’re signed in to Game Center, the app posts your daily-puzzle times and your total puzzles solved to Apple’s Game Center leaderboards, where other players can see them alongside your Game Center name. This is handled by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy. We don’t receive or store it. If you don’t sign in to Game Center, nothing is posted.

Paper Sudoku uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to show optional rewarded video ads. Watching one earns you an extra hint once your free hints are used. Ads only play when you choose “Watch a short ad”, never automatically.

To serve these ads, Google’s SDK may collect data such as your device’s advertising identifier, IP address and general device and app information, and may share it with its advertising partners. Google, not us, does this collection and processing, under Google’s Privacy Policy. We don’t receive or store any of it.

Your consent. If you’re in the UK, the EEA or Switzerland, the app shows Google’s consent form the first time you open it, before any ad is loaded, and Google’s ad SDK doesn’t start until you’ve answered. The form explains how ads may use your data and lets you choose. You can change your answer at any time in Settings → Ads and privacy → Privacy choices. Elsewhere, Google decides whether a form is needed where you live.

You can avoid this entirely by never choosing to watch an ad, or by unlocking Paper Sudoku Pro, a one-time purchase that removes ads and hint limits.

Apple processes Paper Sudoku Pro entirely through the App Store. We never see your payment details; Apple only tells the app whether you own the purchase.
